STREAMNET DATA STORE

Add Your Data Set

Use our Data Publishing Service to add your data set to the Data Store.

The StreamNet Data Store is a searchable archive of data sets related to fish and other aquatic resources that are not of the specific data types included in the main StreamNet database. These data sets come from many different sources and are provided for download in their original formats. To add your own data set to the Data Store, use our Data Publishing Service.

StreamNet did not participate in creation of most of these data sets, and we are not able to answer questions about those we did not help develop. For questions about the data sets available from this page, please contact the originator of the particular data set.

To search the Data Store, enter key words, project numbers, species, methods, etc. into the search box below and click "Search".

Purpose of Data Set Purpose provided in Abstract
Summary / Abstract The Duck Valley Indian Reservation is located in southwest Idaho and north central Nevada. Three reservoirs named Mountain View, Lake Billy Shaw, and Sheep Creek are located on the Reservation and serve as rainbow trout fisheries for Tribal subsistence and recreational purposes. Mountain View Reservoir (MVR) is located on the Idaho side of the Reservation, while Lake Billy Shaw (LBS) and Sheep Creek Reservoir (SCR) are located in Nevada. MVR and SCR are managed as put-and-take fisheries with set creel limits but no size limitations. LBS on the other hand is managed as a trophy catch-and-release fishery with a creel limit of one fish and an inverse slot size limit. As part of the management of the fisheries, basic water quality parameters such as dissolved oxygen, temperature, and pH are recorded. These data are usually collected every two weeks and utilized to understand seasonal fluctuations and constraints.
